Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What services do we offer?
1. Inspections. Our inspections are completed by a ReOC drone operator and results analysed by our in house Level 1 thermographer. A report is generated for you within 24 hours.
2. Cleaning. Cleaning can make a huge difference to the output of your panels. Preferably we would clean your panels from ground height using extension cleaners, if we are required to access your roof, our height safety accredited operator produces quality results, at an affordable price. For extra difficult roofs, cranes or scissor lifters may be required at an additional cost, we will discuss with you the best option for completing your project. If cleaning detergents are required we use neutral ph cleaners to ensure the quality of your glass and panels remains.
3. Repairs. If repairs are required our Master Electrician who is licensed with Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) will assess the best and most cost effective option for you. All repairs or replacements will occur as per Clean Energy Council (CEC) requirements
Q.How often should my panels be checked?
A. The Australian Government recommends having your solar system checked at least every 5 years.

Q. Why should I consider an inspection for my solar panels?
A. SolarQuotes states “Rooftop solar is not perfectly safe” Anything with live current running through it can be dangerous if damaged or defective and solar systems are no exception. Fires have resulted from faults and, while most have been small, some have resulted in whole buildings being destroyed.
While solar systems have no moving parts to wear out, problems that can potentially occur include:
-
deterioration of cable insulation over time-
-
failure of defective components-
-
components filling with water-
-
corrosion-
-
animals chewing on cables-
-
damage from natural disasters/extreme weather events such as earthquakes, bush fires, and storms-
-
damage caused by home renovations-
-
incompetent installation-
-
DC isolator fires-
Having a professional inspect a system can result in problems being identified and rectified before they become a danger.
Q. Who is this service for?

Our thermal camera is able to detect any heat variances including malfunctioning cells, defective components, water damage and inoperative panels.
Q. What do I get from the inspection?
